JX Advanced Metals Corporation

Donation by JX Advanced Metals USA, Inc. to Local Educational Institutions

JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Yoichi Hayashi, hereinafter "the Company") is pleased to announce that its overseas subsidiary, JX Advanced Metals USA, Inc. (President: Masago Kuwahara), will donate USD 15,000 annually to each of two local educational foundations--Maricopa County Community College District Foundation and The Queen Creek School Education Foundation--in 2025 and 2026, for a total contribution of USD 60,000.

The Maricopa County Community College District Foundation is a nonprofit organization that raises, manages, and distributes scholarship funds for students attending community colleges in Maricopa County, Arizona. The donation will be used to provide scholarships to students enrolling at Mesa Community College who major in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM). The Queen Creek School Education Foundation, located in Queen Creek, Arizona, manages and awards scholarships to high school students based on academic performance and other criteria to support their pursuit of higher education.

Driven by the increasing demand for high-speed, high-capacity data transmission due to semiconductor miniaturization and the rise of generative AI, the semiconductor logic and memory markets are expected to continue expanding. To capture this growth, the Company has constructed a new plant in Mesa, Arizona, significantly enhancing its downstream processing capacity for sputtering targets for semiconductors. The site is envisioned to become a major hub for advanced semiconductor materials and other operations in North America.

The JX Advanced Metals Group is committed to deepening its relationships with local communities through social contribution activities at its domestic and international business sites. In addition, the Group actively promotes collaboration with academia to support the development of new materials and the cultivation of next-generation talent. This donation initiative is part of those ongoing efforts.

The JX Advanced Metals Group will continue to actively engage in initiatives that support local communities and foster the next generation.
