JX Advanced Metals Corporation
Announcement of Organizational Changes
JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; "the Company") will make the following organizational changes, effective October 1, 2025.
1. Establishment of the Data Infrastructure Materials Business Promotion Department within the Advanced Materials Group, with the Advanced Packaging Material Business Promotion Office (currently part of the Advanced Technology & Strategy Department of the Technology Group) integrating into the new department
With the rapid proliferation of generative AI, the volume of data in society is increasing exponentially. As a result, materials that support data infrastructure--such as those used in data centers and network equipment--are becoming more critical than ever. In response to these changes, the Company established the Advanced Packaging Material Business Promotion Office in November 2024 to expand its product lineup in the advanced semiconductor packaging field.
This organizational reform aims to strengthen our capabilities not only in advanced packaging materials but also in developing new products for data infrastructure applications. The new department will oversee marketing, mass production system development, and commercialization efforts. It will also promote cross-functional marketing from a Company-wide perspective and serve as a platform for launching new businesses within the Group. With a scope that encompasses the entire Advanced Materials Group, the department will build an optimal framework for promoting and commercializing new products.
2. Integration of Technology Departments under the Advanced Materials Group
The Technology Departments that previously operated as part of individual Divisions within the Advanced Materials Group will be integrated under the Advanced Materials Group.
This integration will enable better sharing of technologies and expertise across businesses and centralize information management. It will also allow for more multifaceted approaches to technical challenges. In addition, the reform will promote efficiency and labor-saving in common operations, optimizing overall workflows.
Through this reorganization, the Company aims to enhance the functions of its technology organizations and further strengthen the competitiveness of its advanced materials business.
