JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; hereinafter "the Company") will establish the AX Promotion Office within its Corporate Planning Department, effective November 1, 2026, to drive company-wide transformation through the use of AI (AX: AI Transformation).

　

The Company has been promoting business transformation through digital technologies, while also advancing the use and deployment of AI across its departments, led mainly by the IT Dept. With the rapid sophistication of AI technologies in recent years, it has become important not only to continue these frontline-driven initiatives, but also to align AI with management strategy rather than treating it merely as a means of improving operational efficiency. Specifically, the Company needs to expand the scope of AI use to company-wide transformation and more advanced decision-making, including rethinking its businesses and business processes with AI as a premise. In light of these circumstances, the Company will establish the AX Promotion Office within the Corporate Planning Department as a dedicated organization to plan and lead company-wide AI-driven transformation.

　

The AX Promotion Office will identify AI-driven transformation themes across the Company and, in collaboration with individual departments, the IT Dept., and external partners, drive initiatives seamlessly from concept through implementation and rollout. It will also be responsible for formulating company-wide policies and guidelines on AI use, as well as establishing and operating a governance framework.

　

The IT Dept. will continue to develop and operate the systems and infrastructure required for AI use, while providing hands-on support for AI adoption in each department. By working together while each fulfills its respective role, the two organizations will accelerate AI-powered business transformation and further enhance the competitiveness of the Group.
