JX Advanced Metals Corporation

Announcement of Organizational Changes

JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; hereinafter "the Company") hereby announces that it has established the Chitose Office in Chitose City, Hokkaido Prefecture on February 27, 2026, to serve as part of the Data Infrastructure Materials Business Promotion Department.

Chitose City has been attracting increasing attention as a driving force behind the revitalization of Japan's semiconductor industry. With Rapidus Corporation (Representative Director and CEO: Koike Atsuyoshi; hereinafter "Rapidus") developing a manufacturing base for cutting-edge logic semiconductor devices in Chitose, the area is quickly becoming a hub for semiconductor-related companies and research institutions from Japan and abroad. The business environment is also developing into an optimal setting for advanced industries, with the local government taking proactive steps to attract and support businesses, and the transportation network--centered on New Chitose Airport--offering excellent domestic and international accessibility. In light of these developments and our investment in Rapidus,¹ we have established the Chitose Office on the premises of New Chitose Airport to leverage the favorable conditions toward accelerating the growth of our existing businesses and the creation of new businesses.

In the advanced semiconductor sector, cooperation with a wide range of partners, including those with expertise in materials, design, and apparatus engineering, is indispensable. Accordingly, the Chitose Office will serve as a point of contact for engagement with Rapidus and other semiconductor-related companies, research institutions, universities, business organizations, and local governments in Hokkaido. Working with the Company's relevant divisions, the Office will be responsible for information-gathering, surveys, sales support, and related activities for semiconductor materials, materials for data infrastructure, recycling, and more.

The Company recently established the Data Infrastructure Materials Business Promotion Department to strengthen companywide marketing functions and promote the creation of new businesses.² By positioning the new Chitose Office as part of the Department, we will work to further bolster our business-development framework in advanced technological domains.
