JX Advanced Metals Corporation (President: Hayashi Yoichi; hereinafter "the Company") will implement the following organizational changes effective July 1, 2025.

　

1. Transfer of functions of the Technology Group's Digital Manufacturing Transformation Department to the Planning and Coordination Department (Structural Reform/DX Section), the Technology Group's IT Department (DX Promotion Section), the Technology Group's Facilities Engineering Department (Process Section), and the Technology Development Center's Simulation Team
It is becoming increasingly vital to swiftly and aggressively promote a variety of transformations by utilizing the latest digital technologies, such as the rapidly advancing generative AI technology. Accordingly, the Digital Manufacturing Transformation Department will be abolished and its functions transferred to the Planning and Coordination Department (Structural Reform/DX Section) and respective organizations of the Technology Group in order to further accelerate reform efforts and enhance corporate value. As a result, the Planning and Coordination Department will assume responsibility for formulating and promoting the implementation of company-wide strategies for DX promotion, while the respective organizations in the Technology Group will transition to a framework under which they will specialize in leveraging their expertise to provide technical support. Through this reorganization, the company's existing operations will be reviewed from a company-wide management perspective and collaboration among departments will be strengthened in order to promote a more comprehensive transformation driven by digital technology.

　

2. Transfer of information security functions of the Administration Department to the Technology Group's Quality Control Department, which will be renamed the Quality Management Department
The Administration Department's ISMS1 Office has worked to ensure proper operation and oversight of information security management. However, in order to further improve the effectiveness of ISMS and expand its scope of application to Group companies, ISMS should be operated efficiently in coordination with other management systems. To this end, the functions of the ISMS Office will be transferred to the Technology Group's Quality Control Department, and the department will be renamed the Quality Management Department. This reorganization aims to establish a more effective operational system by streamlining and integrating administrative tasks common to both ISMS and QMS,2 such as management reviews, internal audits, and training and education.

2. QMS: Quality management system, a structure that enables an organization to maintain and improve the quality of its products and services on an ongoing basis.
