NKC4820 ― High Conductivity Corson Alloy

High Conductivity Corson Alloy NKC4820
(UNS Alloy No. C64810)

Overview

There is increasing demand for connector alloys offering the strength of existing alloys along with high electrical conductivity, reflecting the trend toward more compact devices and quick charging. Our NKC4820 alloy, with its excellent balance among strength, electrical conductivity, and bend formability, was developed in answer to this demand. It is ideal for use where connectors for in-vehicle electronics, consumer electronics, or information devices must withstand particularly high current.

Features

  1. 1.High electrical conductivity 60% IACS: Higher electrical conductivity than conventional Corson alloys
  2. 2.High Yield strength of 750 MPa
  3. 3.Excellent bend formability (MBR/t = Minimum bend radius/Thickness = 0 bad way, thickness ≦ 0.1 mm)
  4. 4.Superior stress relaxation resistance (stress relaxation rate less than 20% at 150℃, 1,00 hours)
